The Lady Cards, 3-0, will play Joaquin Nov. 20 in the Union Grove Tournament. The team won 48-39 against Jacksonville the first day of the tournament.  The coaches said that the girls have been working very hard throughout their entire two-hour training sessions, something that the coaches are very thankful for.

Just because the coaches are impressed with the girls’ tenacity doesn’t mean that they’re letting the players off easy. The coaches have been focusing on transition drills and as Coach Keith Taylor said, “lots of defense.”

When asked if there was anything that he would change about the team, Coach Taylor said that he wished that he could get the girls to understand all aspects of the game. Otherwise, he says that he is very proud.

For supporters  of the team, games against Spring Hill and Hawkins will be held on Nov. 23 and Nov. 24 respectively.
