George Orwell’s dystopian classic “1984” is currently #1 on Amazon’s best-selling book list. This in itself is quite an achievement considering the book was originally published in 1949. What is interesting about this is that other similar titles such as “It Can’t Happen Here,” by Sinclair Lewis and “Brave New World,” by Aldous Huxley are also climbing up Amazon’s best sellers list. There has been speculation that this is because of the inauguration of President Trump. Many citizens believe that these books show a future that America is currently headed toward.
