The varsity football team won their first playoff game in over 80 years against Mount Vernon 20-14 at Sulphur Springs on Nov. 16. The win moves the varsity football team up in the MaxPreps rankings to 11 in the 3A-1 division and their record to 10-1 on the season.

The next playoff game will be against the Pottsboro Cardinals at Paris High School on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
