The annual Liberty City Christmas parade, held on Dec. 5., featured students who represented Sabine High School and community members from around the Liberty City area.

“We walked the whole parade,”  sophomore band member Ana Delgado said. “One of the Christmas songs we got to play for the audience was  ‘Come, All Ye Faithful.’ It was a short piece of music that we had to memorize.”

The band, cheerleaders, Strutters, FFA members, and the homecoming court got the chance to be recognized at the parade.

“As Liberty City grows, we get to have events like these that bring people together,” sophomore band member Michael McLane said. “Being part of the Sabine band is fun to be part of and being able to walk with the band, looking presentable with our uniforms, was a great experience. I think we did a good job, and it was worth walking those miles.”
