Student council recently surveyed a total of 134 cars which were stopped in both of the front and back entrances of Sabine High School. Quarterback Landon McKinney was selected as the Texas Bank & Trust Offensive Player of the Week in the Longview  News-Journal. McKinney completed 13 of 19 passes and 1 touchdown and also carried the ball 29 times for 126 yards and two touchdowns against Shelbyville in the Sept. 7 away game.
